Sermon Shows That Mormon Church Has Not Changed Regarding Homosexuality - Lez Get Real
It should not be surprising to find out that a member of the hierarchy of the Mormon Church believes that lesbians and gays can change sexual attraction even though all evidence shows that the majority of lesbians and gays do not and that those who do could be considered bisexual. He also believes that the Mormon Church should not change, but that lesbians and gays should. Boyd K. Packer, president of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles, said in a strongly worded sermon regarding pornography and same-sex marriage “There are those today who not only tolerate but advocate voting to change laws that would legalize immorality, as if a vote would somehow alter the designs of God’s laws and nature. A law against nature would be impossible to enforce. Do you think a vote to repeal the law of gravity would do any good?”
